Classic black & yellow Parlophone design with silver text, "The Parlophone Co Ltd" perimeter text, "Recording First Published 1963" label print & no "Sold In UK" lettering. The second pressing spelling correction for the song 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' is present & correct, as is the 'Dominion Belinda' song credit for 'Money'.

Sleeve :-
The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve is in remarkable shape with 'Patents Pending' credit on the bottom flip. It is free from edge splits and few signs of age including the unlaminated back with only a small annoated old price point or owner's number on the back, and light yellowing in places. The laminate is crisp & clear with just the lightest of creasing in a only one or two places. The first pressing 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' mispelling is printed on the back, indicating many first pressing covers were still in use for the second press vinyl batch.
In reality, there was only one press of this record as the presses started rolling in 1963 and didn't stop until the late eighties.
Vinyl :-
The vinyl is fantastic. It still gleams with just a couple of very faint cosmetic surface hairlines evident upon only close inspection when held in the light that have no effect whatsoever on play. A truly gorgeous example. Highly recommended.
