Produced by David Behrman, In C features Terry Riley on saxophone and as leader, with members of the Center of the Creative and Performing Arts in the State University of New York at Buffalo, including Jon Hassell on trumpet and David Rosenboom on viola. Printed inside is the original score which 'can be played by any ensemble, amateur or otherwise, but the best performances will be made by musicians gifted with a special ability to improvise and to listen to one another'.
