GILES, GILES & FRIPP A Selection From The Brondesbury Tapes (Drawn from the historic 1968 home demo sessions at 93a Brondesbury Road, A Selection From The Brondesbury Tapes captures the raw creative spirit of Giles, Giles & Frippat a key transitional moment - just before the formation of King Crimson. Remastered in 2025 by David Singleton and significantly enhanced sonically, this newly curated collection presents 13 of the best-preserved recordings from thosesessions, pressed on 200-gram super heavyweight vinyl. These home-recorded tapes offer a rare glimpse into Robert Fripp's early compositional style and the evolving chemistry between the trio - Peter Giles, Michael Giles, and Fripp - joined here by guest appearances from Judy Dyble (ex-Fairport Convention) and a then-unknown Ian McDonald, who would go on to co-found King Crimson. Two distinct versions of "I Talk to the Wind" appear-one sung by Peter Giles, the other by Judy Dyble-while other highlights include early forms of material later reimagined for Islands and In the Wake of Poseidon. Vinyl cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering. Hype sticker & factory sealed)
