RAW MATERIAL Time Is... (Very Rare 1971 UK 6-track vinyl
LP - One of the hardest records to find in the uber-collectable RCA
Neon series, this is superior prog rock action from the short-lived
British act that were favourably compared to Van Der Graaf Generator
and King Crimson [yes, that good]. You can expect twin sax, extended
instrumental passages and deft keyboard work throughout. Issued in
the gatefold picture sleeve with jet-black die-cut company inner, this is
only the second copy we have ever seen of this elusive prog album.

TRACKLISTING AND EXTRA INFORMATION
CONDITION
This is a one previous owner copy which has been enjoyed as it should be.
The sleeve shows ringwear and rubbing to the edges, which whilst noticeable, still leaves the artwork largely clear. A few parts of the Neon logo in the top corner have been doodled on in ballpoint pen, otherwise the sleeve is free from writing. The interior shows light wear, but nothing severe. The text on the spine is legible with just moderate creasing. The sleeve is free from tears or splits and is graded as VG. The original black die-cut inner is included and has typical creasing as well as a couple of tears to the centre
The disc grades as VG and has been professionally cleaned on a Matrix machine & play tested. There is a prominant scuff to the first side, which takes in all of the first track and a little of the second, however there is very little of this that comes in play. The rest of both sides have light scuffs & hairlines, which aside from a little ambient noise in the quiet passages (not that there are too many), have little impace on play; certainly play testing gives a much better result than could be expected on a purely visual appraisal! All in all a nice play copy, which considering the price of Mint examples, would serve well as a reasonably priced, yet still very rare stunner!
