KALEIDOSCOPE (UK) Tangerine Dream (Extremely Rare 1967 UK first issue 11-track MONO vinyl LP on the black & silver Fontana label - This debut album from the band who later changed their name to Fairfield Parlour is rightly regarded as aclassic in the Psychedelic genre, ranking alongside Nirvana [UK]'s The Story of Simon Simopath and Pink Floyd's The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, although it sold very little at the time. This is one of only three copies we've seen in thirty plus years of trading TL5448)

Condition:
The Sleeve: Graded 'G' (Good)
The sleeve is not laminated, which means it is more susceptible to wear, this is certainly true of this copy. All edges display considerable edge scuffing, ringwear and light creasing. There is also discolouration/staining to the reverse panel, the spine also shows considerable wear. However, the flip backs are secure, all text on the front and back panels is clearly legible and there is no writing etc. The psychedelic front image is still clear. All in keeping with a 'G' grade.
The Vinyl: Graded 'G' (Good)
The vinyl too shows wear with numerous hairlines, faint scratches. However, play testing reveals a relatively trouble-free experience. There is some light crackling in the quiet sections and the odd 'pop' in places - there are no skips, repeating clicks etc. All in keeping with a 'G' grade.
It is also in MONO, the way it was designed to be heard.
