HELMET Seeing Eye Dog (2010 US issue 10-track 2-LP vinyl set - Marking their first release on the indie Work Song label, 'Seeing Eye Dog' is the band's seventh album and was produced by band leader and only remaining original founding member,vocalist / guitarist / songwriter Page Hamilton, with additional production by Toshi Kasai and vocal production by Mark Renk. On songs that consistently cut deep, Hamilton's guitar is on fire as always and his vocals are as wicked as ever. The album's 10 tracks include 'Welcome To Algiers', 'White City', the mostly instrumental 'Morphing' and a cover of the Beatles' 'And Your Bird Can Sing'. This vinyl edition comes complete with a Bonus LP containing a live album recorded on the San Francisco Warped Tour in 2006! Housed in a gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some light scuffing and edge wear. The vinyl have just a couple of cosmetic hairlines and few signs of play. More drop-tuned, precision from the band that sounds like no one else.
