Reitzell's score has been unanimously praised as a vitally important part of HANNIBAL. The music itself is deeply unsettling, and like Lecter himself often appears calm but really hides a certain amount of darkness beneath the skin. The soundtrack effortlessly moves from classically inflected tones to electronic avant-garde, with sudden tonal shifts from calm to violent reflecting the insanity of Hannibal Lecter, the iconic character who first appeared on screens in 1986's Manhunter..

Brian Reitzell has scored a great deal of interesting projects across media, notably the films of Sofia Coppola such as The Virgin Suicides and Lost In Translation, and has just released his acclaimed debut album Auto Music, which continues his collaborations with Kevin Shields (of My Bloody Valentine). Invada recently released Reitzell's score for the incredibly popular video game Watch Dogs.
